International Joint Conference on Computer Vision, Imaging and Computer Graphics Theory and Applications,
21-24 February 2013

The International Conference on Computer Vision Theory and Applications is a major point of contact between researchers, engineers and practitioners in the area of computer vision application systems. Tracks cover all aspects related to computer vision: Image Formation and Preprocessing; Image and Video Analysis and Understanding; Motion, Tracking and Stereo Vision; and Applications and Services.
During the 4 day conference, Paul Chippendale presented VENTURI funded research relating to the analysis of mountain images for AR content creation, AR visualization and content validation/authentication.
The paper was entitled “Geo-positional Image Forensics through Scene-Terrain Registration” and was presented on Saturday 23rd February, in Session 8 “Image Formation and Preprocessing / Image and Video Analysis / Applications and Services / Motion, Tracking and Stereo Vision”
